This amazing charity was set up as an aid to Joe Guintu, who in March 12th, 2007 suffered a bizarre and rare injury known as "Surfer's Myelopathy." This injury has caused Joe to be paralyzed from the waist down, yet Joe continues to fight and make strides. Joe and his organization represent strength and integrity, which is part of the New Civilization theme.
